LVC training

LVC logoThe “Lincolnshire Volunteer Card” (LVC) is a six module training programme to help volunteers learn about, fit in, understand and benefit from a volunteering role.

Full details about LVC are on the main VANEL website here.  Or you can contact VANEL for further details.  Dates for the latest training are on the VANEL calendar.

LVC training when available is always free for volunteers to attend, but places cost £60 each and need to be fully sponsored, funded or subsidised.

As part of the VANEL Young Leaders project we are able to 100% subsidise places on the LVC course if appropriate.

This happens if:
You are aged 18-25 and are resident or work within North East Lincolnshire.
You have ‘joined’ the Young Leaders Network (simple form – see here) because you are interested in leadership opportunities, trusteeship, governance or similar roles.
You can be endorsed by an NEL based organisation with whom you are already volunteering.

If however you are not currently volunteering or working with a group/charity/organisation then you can still obtain a subsidised LVC place if you have attended at least three Young Leaders Network sessions.
